Welcome To Wild Things Seafood!

Family-Owned Fish Truck: Certified Wild BC Seafood in Comox Valley & Gulf Islands.

Bringing ethically-sourced Wild BC fish to you!

About Us

Peter owned his first commercial fish boat...

...off Saturna Island as a teenager and has fished the BC coast on and off ever since. Now living on Cortes Island, Peter, his daughter Zyla, and her mother Noba, are bringing high-quality Wild BC ethically sourced, frozen fish and seafood directly to you. Although our BC waters produce fish for markets far and wide, it is hard for fisherfolk to get their product directly to local fish-eaters and hard for fish lovers to find high-quality, ethically-sourced local fish and seafood. Wild Things Seafood aims to help bridge this gap by working directly with local fisherfolk and fish processors to bring their product directly to you. We do this both through our Fish Truck in the Comox Valley and at roadside/markets throughout the Gulf Islands.

Our Fish Selection

What We Offer To You

We take pride in offering a diverse selection of local fish and seafood to meet your culinary desires. Our largely frozen inventory is updated as products become available, both seasonally and with new local suppliers. Why frozen? Frozen seafood is usually fresher than ‘fresh’ seafood in stores that has been shipped for many days after being caught. Freezing happens as soon as the fish arrives at the processing plant, and sometimes right at sea! We do not carry fresh seafood.

If you are seeking something specific, we encourage you to contact us ahead of time to confirm availability.
